DistroHopper39B's Website

DistroHopper39B Logo

Hello, I am DistroHopper39B, or Distro for short! I'm a high school student from New York who loves low-level programming and technology as a whole. I've been making YouTube videos for over ten years, and I've been messing with computers for about eight. I'm particularly interested in computers from the 2000s and 90s, which is the primary content on my channel. This website is designed to load on vintage computers (mostly using ancient HTML and CSS features and allowing non-SSL connections) though it will look better on newer browsers with support for fonts (do report issues if there's any problems with this site on older browsers as I don't test consistently).

I currently own upwards of 40 computers that have been variously acquired from friends, family, swap meets, thrift stores, and in a few cases from the side of the road. No, I don't have a problem. I can stop whenever I want.

Programming Projects

Other, usually incomplete projects I've done can be found on my GitHub account.

Contact Me

In general, the best way to contact me is via either Discord or Twitter/BlueSky/Mastodon DMs. You can also email my official business email (distrohopper39b dot business at gmail dot com) if you'd like as well. I don't accept sponsorships as I've been on YouTube long enough to be able to recite an entire list of terrible sponsors and I don't want to accidentally promote a scam or bad business. If you want to contact me about a specific project, the project's Issues page is probably the best place to do that.
